    Your Child Receives an Autism Diagnosis   

  • The journey to ABA therapy begins with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis from a qualified medical professional, such as a developmental pediatrician, neurologist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. After the diagnosis, your child's provider will submit or recommend a referral for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. At LEAP ABA Therapy, we proudly serve families throughout Dallas, Texas, providing personalized autism therapy for children with ASD. We accept many major commercial insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), Aetna, Cigna, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, and many others.   • Contact LEAP ABA Therapy to Schedule an Autism Assessment

  • Once your child has received an autism diagnosis and ABA therapy referral, contact LEAP ABA Therapy to begin the enrollment process. Our experienced team will help you schedule a comprehensive ABA assessment with one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), verify your insurance benefits, and answer any questions about starting therapy. To get started, simply  complete our insurance verification form online. We proudly serve families ABA Therapy in Dallas, Texas and accept many major commercial insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), Aetna, Cigna, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, Medicaid, and other commercial insurance providers, making it easier for your child to access high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as quickly as possible.

  • Comprehensive ABA Assessment & Personalized Treatment Recommendation
  • Your child will complete a comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) assessment conducted by one of LEAP ABA Therapy's experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). During the evaluation, we assess your child's communication, social skills, adaptive living skills, learning abilities, play skills, and behaviors to determine their individual strengths and areas of need. Based on the assessment results and medical necessity, our BCBA will develop a personalized treatment plan and recommend either full-time ABA therapy or part-time ABA therapy to help your child achieve meaningful, measurable progress. Every treatment recommendation is tailored to your child's unique needs and follows evidence-based ABA practices to maximize success.

  • STEP 4: Insurance Authorization & Start of ABA Therapy Services

  • After your child's ABA assessment is complete, LEAP ABA Therapy prepares a comprehensive treatment plan and submits the clinical evaluation, supporting documentation, and authorization request to your insurance company for review. Our team works directly with your insurance provider to obtain approval as quickly as possible and keeps you informed throughout the process. We proudly work with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), Aetna, Cigna, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, and many other commercial insurance plans. Once your insurance authorization is approved, we will contact you to schedule your child's first day of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, match your family with a dedicated clinical team, and begin providing personalized, evidence-based autism treatment designed to help your child reach their full potential.
